How to apply?

To apply for the fixed deposit schemes, please download the Application Form in PDF format and take a print out.
Send us the completeley filled form to the office at Chennai. -
Check List of documents to be furnished for new fixed deposit:
For Individual
1. Application form filled up and signed by depositor.
2. Copy of PAN CARD.
3. Copy of Aadhar card.
4. Any other ID for Address proof. (If Address not matched)
5. KYC form filled up with photo signed across.
6. 15G or 15H forms - 2 sets signed.
7. Cancelled Cheque or front page of bank pass book for account number proof, with IFSC code.
For Institutions
1. Application form filled up and signed by the depositor.
2. PAN / Certificate of Registration.
3. Address Proof.
4. Authorized Signatory Photo
5. Authorization letter
6. I.T Excemption Order if any
7. Cancelled Cheque or front page of bank pass book for account number proof, with IFSC code.

Check List of documents to be furnished for renewal :
1. Fixed Deposit Renewal Application form filled up and signed by depositor.
2. Original Fixed Deposit Reciept signed (back side).
Schemes
-
At present Fixed Deposits are mobilised under two different schemes.
» Periodic Interest Payment Scheme (PIPS)
Under PIPS, Interest is paid either
(a) monthly or (b) quarterly or (c) annually, and the minimum amount of deposit accepted is Rs.50,000/-.
» Money Multiplier Scheme (MMS)
Under MMS, the interest is compounded quarterly at the appropriate rate of interest and paid on maturity together with the principlel.
The minimum amount of deposit acceptable is Rs.50,000/-.
Remittance
- a) Under both the deposit schemes (PIPS/MMS) the minimum deposit amount is Rs.50,000/- and there is no maximum limit.

b) Depositors may make payments through Cheque (OR) Online Remittance link page in our Website.

c) All cheques must be crossed ‘A/c Payee’ drawn in favour of Tamilnadu Transport Development Finance Corporation Ltd.
Name and address of the Depositor with Mobile no. should be written on the back side of the cheque.
Post dated cheques will not be accepted. -
d) Application for fixed deposit shall be made in the prescribed form available in our office.
Application may also be downloaded from our website www.tdfc.in and apply.
Application form with Cheques/Online Remittance Receipt details alongwith necessary supporting documents shall be forwarded to our office
Application bearing the thumb impression of the depositor will be entertained only if the same is attested by TDFC Manager or Gazetted Officer and also annexed with a passport size photo.
Senior Citizens has to produce Age Proof.
